Ethics: ETH 101 - Introduction to Medical Ethics (Home Study or Live Class)
This course is 2 credits in ETHICS. When taken live, also fulfills 2 credits for a live class.
What is Ethics? We aim to find out. In this lively course, the Course Participant is led through the basic definitions and word etymologies to gain a deeper understanding of the terms.
That is useful for any health practitioner.
Do you think you know the Hippocratic Oath? (Firstly, do no harm...?) Why does Hippocrates have only one name? Are the Geneva Conventions and the Declaration of Geneva the same thing? Is a Lasagna Oath that fad '70s diet plan? Is the Red Cross the same as Red Crescent? What about the Red Robin?
These and other interesting topics covered in depth.

Ethics: ETH 131 - Dilemmas In Medical Ethics I: Identifying and Articulating Issues Concerning the Four Pillars of Medical Ethics (Home Study or Live Class)
This course is 2 credits in ETHICS. When taken live, also fulfills 2 credits for a live class.
This fun and entertaining course places the Course Participant in the role of Medical Ethics Claims Investigator.
Course Participants solve Ethics Cases presented in interesting fictional story-form.
Did you like reading Encyclopedia Brown as a kid? You can now solve mystery stories of who transgressed ethical standards, and how!
Keeping the 4 Pillars of Medical Ethics in mind, that is, Respect for Autonomy, Non-Malficence, Beneficence, and Justice, the Course Participant plays the role of investigator.
This is a first in a series of Ethics Courses where the Course Participant will be placed in the role of Medical Ethics Claims Investigator.

Ethics: ETH 132 - Dilemmas In Medical Ethics II: Finding Workable Solutions to Issues in Medical Ethics(Home Study or Live Class)
This course is 1 credit in ETHICS. When taken live, also fulfills 1 credit for a live class.
In this fun and entertaining course, the Course Participant returns in the role of Medical Ethics Claims Investigator for a second time.
Course Participants solve Ethics Cases presented in interesting fictional story-form.
This time, the Investigator will find workable solutions to Ethical Dilemmas in Medicine.
This is a second in a series of Ethics Courses where the Course Participant will be placed in the role of Medical Ethics Claims Investigator.
Prerequisites: NONE
Laws & Regulations: LAW 101 - Massage Laws Of New Jersey (Home Study or Live Class)
This course is 1.5 credits. (1 Credit Massage Laws of NJ, .5 toward General Category credits; varies by state.) When taken live, also fulfills 1.5 credits for a live class.
This comprehensive course is about what health practitioner should know, with regard to the laws governing Therapeutic Massage in New Jersey, and covers every aspect of the law. Whether you work with LMTs or you are one yourself, this course does not skip anything you might want to know about the law.
Uniquely, this course will also empower the course participant to understand the process of how to advocate for changes in the Massage Laws, whether a Licensed Massage Therapist, Chiropractor, Nurse, or other Licensed health care practitioner.
The Course Participant is encouraged to participate in the community and exercise their voice, when they feel it's necessary.
